About a month ago my friend Lee Anne asked if I would photograph the filming of her project entitled "Birth Differently". Lee Anne is my sister, one of my best friends, and someone that I look up to a lot. So of course I said yes.
The project in itself is one that I am most proud of.
What is Birth Differently you ask?
It is a birth advocacy project created to challenge our culture to think about birth differently.
For one afternoon a large group of men and woman were invited to share their birthing stories. I got to do portraits for each story and shoot behind the scenes images.
I thought I would share a few photos before the project's kick starter is launched in the coming months. Once this happens I will post more.
