I am an Orlando-based portrait photographer. My work focuses on creating space for individuals to find and celebrate their most authentic selves.

I work with individuals and companies from all areas of life.

Some of my favorite clients have been The New York Times, Variety Magazine, Advent Health, Rollins College, Creative City Project, and the Orlando Magic. I even had an 8-month-long installation at The Orlando Museum of Art.

David Lawrence Fun Facts

-I have been taking photos since 2011 when my cousin gave me a Pentax k1000 film camera as a gift.

-The first photography job I ever did was photographing a friend’s wedding at my house in Seattle, Washington.

-I spent over 5 years working as “Artist in Residence” for a non-profit called “Art Reach Orlando

-I have OCD and ADHD. I didn’t get diagnosed with OCD until age 30. It’s one of the most difficult things I deal with on an ongoing basis and I have to learn to coexist with it daily.

-I have the superpowers of empathy and compassion.

-I was once a “Christian Missionary”

-I drink two-three cups of coffee a day.

I am an ultra-marathon runner! (I once ran 52 miles from Orlando to New Smyrna Beach)

- I am utterly obsessed with cats.

-There are naked photos of me on the internet.
